Master of Computer Science student at the University of Sydney
and AZ-104 certified. I've built data pipelines for environmental monitoring, contributed
to internal engineering tools at China Railway, and shipped a full-stack French learning
platform from scratch. I enjoy creating intuitive, efficient solutions and turning ideas
into working applications. Always curious, always learning.
Away from the screen, I spend much of my time with music. I
play the piano and the Guqin — a traditional Chinese instrument whose quiet elegance reminds me to
slow down and focus.
I'm fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and speak intermediate French. I value
empathy and clarity, and friends often turn to me for advice — not because I know everything, but
because I listen and think things through. I believe kindness and composure matter, both in code
and in life.
I've worked across Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and PHP —
building web apps, data pipelines, mobile apps, and internal tools.
Currently solo-building
Atelier (french.chrisverse.uk), a CEFR-graded French learning platform with 240 lessons,
20+ exercise types, and a custom JWT auth + multi-plan subscription system.
